If flying, you will fly into Boise International Airport where you will grab your rental car and drive 2.5 hours to our location in McCall - 11 Roger’s Lane McCall, Idaho 83638.   Check in at the lodge is typically 4:00 pm.  On your departure day, don’t book yourself an early flight out – remember the drive is 2.5 hours without inclement weather!

You must be age 16 or older to ride at CM Backcountry and if renting a sled, you  must have a drivers license and parent present.

YES! Shop space will be available for customers who would like to pull sleds in that need work or would like to thaw out for the night. If open shop space is available, you'll have the option of parking your vehicle as well!

You can rent one of our Polaris Matryx RMK’s (155, 165) or bring your own newer long track mountain sled. Don’t forget - if coming from out of state and bringing your own sled, a non-resident permit is required.

A signed liability agreement is required prior to the ride.

Reservations are required.  A credit card is required to hold the reservation and we require 50%  payment for the reservation.  All payments are non-refundable and must be used for the current riding season.

Payment for your adventure will be due in full at 30 days prior to arrival.

Bring all of your riding gear including boots, pants, jacket, helmet/goggles, balaclava, gloves, and avalanche beacon/probe.  Protective gear is highly recommended and you will want to have extra gloves to stay dry on those deep powder days. Rental riding gear (outerwear) is available if you are renting a sled from us.Bring your own shampoo, hair dryer and toiletries.  Don’t forget a swimsuit for the hot tub and sauna on site!

Rental riding gear (outerwear) is available for those renting a sled from us.  Avy safety equipment is available for rent and everyone is required to wear an avalanche transceiver, Avy pack/shovel/probe.  (two-way radio’s are recommended).

A variety of merch is available at the CM Backcountry Store in town.  We will have sled parts in stock at the Lodge shop.

We understand that your schedule may change at the last minute and/or emergencies may occur preventing you from attending.  We will do our best to reschedule your adventure for a date that can better accommodate your situation for this season.  See terms and conditions above

Available as part of your backcountry experience is world-class luxury lodging including all-inclusive first class meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Our custom built lodge includes a client shop with room to park your truck/trailer, tools and parts Plus on site sauna, hot tub and drying room set just outside of town. Downtown McCall and the incredible backcountry is only minutes away. ·  4:00 pm is check in time at the lodge on your day of arrival·  Each guest will participate in a safety training and orientation on the first day of riding in the shop before we leave for the mountain·  Group sizes are kept to 6-8 people, with two guides per group. ·  Hot tub AND Sauna on site·  No pets are allowed·  Bath towels are supplied, but you are responsible for bringing all toiletries.·  There is a large heated room dedicated for drying out your riding gear each night·  WiFi is available free and cell phone coverage is great·  Breakfast is served each morning, you’ll grab a lunch for the mountain and dinner is served at evening after your ride.·  Check-out out time is 10:00 am on your day of departure

We offer adventures starting mid-December and run into mid-April.

Group sizes are kept to 6-8 people, with two guides per group.

There is no set schedule, we’ll ride all day until we are all tired and ready to go home!  After a great day of riding, everyone has a great home cooked dinner back at the lodge.

No.  Any damage to rental sleds (including labor) is your responsibility.

The CM Backcountry Lodge is set up for those who are staying and riding with us. If you’d like to bring your spouse, we can likely accommodate but this needs to be planned well in advance.

Out of respect for all guests, No pets are allowed.

The lodge will have a bar but it is BYOB. You are welcome to any "left over" beverages at the bar. Use cautiously lol.  Save the best for the last night and absolutely no adult beverages while riding!!
